    Description

    Here is the
    1862 MUSTER ROLL - 112th PENNSYLVANIA VOLUNTEERS, Co. K, 2nd HEAVY ARTILLERY
document that shows its enlistment of staff and Union soldiers from FEBRUARY 28, 1862.  Images showing this
    Unit having 79 men
    ( with their names ).
    This regiment was originally
organized October 1861 in Philadelphia under the command of CAPTAIN AMZI S. FULLER and stationed at Fort Lincoln in Prince George's County of Maryland,
across the D.C. line from the Washington neighborhoods bearing its name.
    This original document is
signed by 1st Lieutenant PRESSLEY CANNON.
Lt. Cannon was promoted to Major of the 189th Regiment of the Penn. Vols. on April 30, 1864 but was killed in action at C
HAPIN'S FARM in Virginia on September 29, 1864.
    Because of its
    separations
this document is in POOR condition.  It measures 31 by 21 inches but has multiple times "
    separated
" itself where it has been folded for years and years ( maybe 159 years ).  However, This document is "readable" and is
    COMPLETE
except for a few small holes throughout this document.  Museum tape would make this document "frameable" and somewhat "perfect".
Images  #10 - #12 shows the back side of this Civil War document with # 12 showing the legal name
for its promise in the "War Between The States".  Many men's name are shown in these 12 images.
I have included 4 addition history pages on the 2nd Penn. Heavy Artillery, 112th
    Volunteers
    .
