Vintage Alaska Gold Mining Acrylic Paper Weight - Real gold Flakes!

Description

This nice mid-century souvenir paperweight probably dates to the 1960s.  It is a dome-shaped piece of clear Lucite or acrylic with a flat upper surface.  It has multiple embedded gold flakes at varying depths.  It also has the word "Alaska" at center with a small gold shovel & pick ax above and a small gold panning pan below.  It measures about 2 3/4" across at the base and has a blue color wool felt pad adhered to the bottom.  In very good vintage condition overall.
